All Dogs Go to Heaven

Well, I haven't been here in a while. I haven't even been drawing for the last week or so. 

The creative mind can be overwhelmed in the face of tragedy.

We just had to put my dog down.

He had cancer in his stomach, and I knew it was for the best. He could barely stand up.

Speedy had been my best friend for fourteen years, and I'm only 19! I grew up with him.

He was there for me through thick and thin.

It was the hardest decision to come to terms with to let him go easy.

I'd rather let him go early than see him suffer any longer.

And the pain he was in was plain as day.

So goodbye Speedy.

Go chase Aunt Paula in Heaven and nip at her heels like you used to.

I'll see you when I see you.

So I was Stumbling one day and found this picture.

You know those things that have been going around facebook for the past few months?

30 Days of Photos

30 Day Song Challenge

30 Days of Anime

etc.

Well, I don't know why I never though of something like this, but someone did.

Really cool idea.

I'd done the 30 Days of Photos challenge.

Tried the 30 Days Song challenge, but when the semester ended and I had to go home, my access to internet slowed drastically. So no go on YouTube.

But this?

This is perfect!!!

I get to draw stuff! 

So I started yesterday.

Day 1, yourself.

I've never been too good at drawing myself, so this made me a bit nervous. But I started at it. 

Eh, it turned out alright.  Chin is iffy and the eyes are too big and the nose is too small.

But hey, no one is perfect.

And today is Day 2

Favorite Animal

FOX!

I just used an old drawing of a fox that I really really liked.

I really liked that one.  So next is favorite food. 

Better start workin' on that.
